SHENZHEN JINGHONG INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD
There are many kinds of iron & steel products on the market, but we all know that iron products are easy to rust. In order to prevent iron products from rusting, we will do various antirust treatments on part surface. Among which hot galvanizing and cold galvanizing are common.
What's the difference between galvanizing and hot dip galvanizing?
1. Different principles
The principle of hot-dip galvanizing is to invade steel devices into the container containing galvanizing liquid, so as to obtain the metal coating. Galvanizing is to put the processed ironware into the solution containing zinc salt after degreasing and pickling, and then apply the chemical principle to the zinc on the iron and steel devices through the electrolytic equipment.
2. Different equipment required
Galvanizing requires electrolytic equipment, while hot galvanizing requires pickling equipment, bottom drawing annealing furnace or bell annealing furnace.
3. Different performance and advantages
Galvanizing is environmentally friendly, because there is no toxic solvent and diluent in it. Hot dip galvanizing is durable and anticorrosive. Because its galvanized layer is mainly composed of a unique metal structure, it is very durable.
4. Different applications
Galvanizing is mainly based on anti-corrosion coatings, which are developed in the direction of environmental protection. Hot dip galvanizing is mainly because it has a very good anti-corrosion function, so it is widely used in power tower, railway, highway protection, light industry and so on.
